In order to beat the first Blackjack, the player must have cards that add up to 21, or 10 plus cards. If the player busts, he loses the game, the house pays out bonuses, and the players wager bet on whether or not they will hit again. The player may hit as many times as needed, until he busts. Over time, the player develops his own strategy on how to bet, when to bluff, and when to fold. For example, in a game, if the player is dealt several Blackjack cards and he knows the deck contains many 10s, it is likely the player will not get a striking hand. However, on the other hand, the player has not been dealt many tens in many hands, and a large percentage of the deck is 10s now. If the player is able to recognize the high cards, it is possible to get a strong hand. This is just one example of Blackjack card counting. Card counting is not a guaranteed way to win, but it can be used to increase the player’s chances of beating the dealer. Basic card counting requires the player to remember the cards already dealt, and the cards still remaining in the deck. There are two other methods to beat the dealer’s advantage. One is the “anking” method, which is based on the principle of sitting just behind the dealer and paying only the table minimum when you hit. This reduces the amount of the player’s bet needed to beat the dealer. The other card counting method is the “full illuminated” method.
